How long has your business been with The Offices at Spenryn?

Approximately one year

Alliance for Speech and Swallowing Rehabilitation specializes in providing therapy services to adults and teenagers who have sustained an injury or illness with subsequent deficits in speech, language, voice, swallowing or cognitive-linguistic skills. Some of the medical diagnoses our clients present with include, but are not limited to, Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury, vocal fold nodules, head and neck cancer and laryngectomy. We also offer public speaking training for adults and teenagers who would like to improve their skills or overcome their fear of speaking in public.

Why did you choose to move into the Offices at Spenryn?

I wanted a location that would not only conveniently serve clients in the Huntsville/Madison area, but provide a closer option for those in Decatur, Athens and surrounding cities. Furthermore, the Offices at Spenryn offers a variety of plans that help meet the unique needs of a business in all stages of development and growth. I ultimately chose this location after meeting Lisa and her team and recognizing her commitment to helping new business owners be successful.

What should a business owner look for when considering a co-working option?

A business owner should look for a company like the Offices at Spenryn that offers a hands-on approach and services within an environment that is inviting while providing an atmosphere for growth and productivity.

Why should someone consider using your business?

Potential clients should consider our services because we offer over 19 years of experience in providing individualized, patient-centered therapy. In addition, therapy is delivered in a caring environment where we understand the importance of being thorough, actively listening to ensure our clients are heard and making sure our clients and their families are comfortable receiving services. We understand that some clients may require extra time during a session. Because we have more flexibility as a private practice, we can accommodate this need. We are dedicated to making sure our clients have the best possible outcomes. As such, we are committed to continued education as evidenced by our completion of the Parkinson’s Foundation Team Training, recent acceptance to the Parkinson’s Foundation Advanced Team Training and receiving a grant from the Parkinson Voice Project to implement SPEAKOUT!® and the LOUDCrowd®.

What online resources(s) do you find most beneficial to small business owners?
