Meet Lisa Smith - Owner
For more than 40 years, Lisa Smith has dedicated her life to helping others. Her journey began in healthcare, where she spent 25 years as a registered nurse. Nursing gave her the chance to meet incredible people, build lasting relationships, and make a real difference every day. But after two decades in the medical field, Lisa felt it was time for a new chapter — one that would let her continue serving others in a different way.
Today, Lisa is a passionate entrepreneur and proud owner of two growing businesses — The Offices at Spenryn and Tradebank of Huntsville.
In 2017, she saw a need in her community for small business owners to have a professional space outside of their homes — a place free from distractions, where creativity and productivity could thrive. That vision became The Offices at Spenryn, a welcoming space offering private offices, conference rooms, and virtual office services. The Offices has since become a hub for local entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and grow.
Always looking for new ways to help business owners succeed, Lisa expanded her focus in 2019 by purchasing Tradebank of Huntsville, part of a national organization that allows businesses to barter products and services instead of spending cash. Through Tradebank, she’s built strong networks of local businesses helping one another thrive — something she’s truly passionate about.
Her hard work and heart for people were recognized early on when she received Tradebank’s Rookie of the Year (2021), Top Gun Award for Sales (2020), and the coveted President’s Award — the first new regional owner ever to earn that honor in their first year.
Before starting her own businesses, Lisa worked as Area Director for an international business networking organization, and as Business Development Director for a local nonprofit radio station. No matter the role, one thing has always remained the same — her love for connecting people and helping them succeed.
Lisa believes that business is built on relationships, and she continues to pour that belief into everything she does. Whether she’s helping a business owner find the perfect office space or introducing entrepreneurs who can support each other’s goals, Lisa’s mission is simple: to see others grow, both personally and professionally.
